I have some clockwork super 8 cine cameras. I am considering converting them to being motor driven. Do you know of anyone who has successfully achieved this? I am not aiming to maintain their historical integrity. I am intending to use them.

I hope you can help me or refer me to someone who can. Thank you.

    Are you sure they are
    Super 8, not standard 8?

To my knowledge there were only ever two clockwork super 8 cameras made. A basic model by Bell and Howell when super-8 started and the Russian Quarz Zoom Model. Every other super-8 camera I have come across has been electric.
